Dr. Rachelle Laviolette
Dr. Rachelle Laviolette has always had a love of science and passion for helping others. After completing her Bachelor of Science Degree at McGill University, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.
Throughout her four years of dental school, Dr. Laviolette received several awards of distinction including the London & District Dental Society Award, Elgin Dental Association Award in Oral Surgery and the 3M Canada Clinical Award in Restorative Dentistry.
While she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, she especially enjoys working on cosmetic cases due to the confidence it builds in her patients. Her professional, sincere, and friendly demeanor puts patients at ease and places confidence in them when discussing treatment options.
She makes it her mission to ensure patients feel comfortable during treatment, and is certified in Nitrous Oxide (“laughing gas”) and oral sedation. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association, Hamilton Academy of Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When not in the office, Dr. Laviolette thoroughly enjoys travelling, hiking, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Gregory Brittain
Dr. Gregory Brittain was born and raised locally in beautiful Dundas, Ontario. Dr. Brittain completed his degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University in 1986. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Manitoba in 1990. Shortly after that he joined the team at Limeridge Mall Dental.
Dr. Brittain enjoys travelling with his family; although it may be a little harder now since his oldest daughter has started University. His spare time allows him to play his favorite sport of soccer where being part of men’s league keeps him busy.
Dr. Hina Sohail
Dr. Hina Sohail grew up in Toronto and completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University. She then went on to obtain her Master of Business Administration from the DeGroote School of Business.
Her love for science and helping others sparked her interest in the profession of dentistry. She completed her dental education at the University of Manitoba and has since been working in Ontario as a licensed dentist.
She is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry. She also routinely attends continuing education courses and is trained and certified in Nitrous Oxide (“laughing gas”) and oral sedation.
Dr. Sohail makes the oral health of her patients her top priority. She provides services in all aspects of general dentistry and believes in a comprehensive and conservative approach.
Her friendly and comforting demeanor makes her a popular choice with our younger patients. She believes in educating her patients about their treatment options and allowing them to make informed treatment decisions. When she is not at work, she likes travelling, gardening, and spending time with her cat, Buddy.
Dr. Don Scott
Dr. Don Scott was born and raised in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. After attending Kirkland Lake High School in 1959, it was off to the Air Force for him. In the Royal Canadian Air Force, he worked as a Radar Technician from 1959-1965. He also travelled for the Air Force and was working with their Cold War Defense Systems during this time.
He pursued his Bachelor of Science Degree at Sir George Williams University. With this degree, he then went on to Mcgill University to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1975.
Dr. Scott has a passion for music. He has fulfilled that passion by being part of the Dofasco Men’s Choir for many years. In his spare time he loves golf and time with his family, including his dog Zoe.
Dr. Peter Bellingham
Dr. Peter Bellingham is a certified dental specialist in root canal therapy. Dr. Bellingham graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Queen’s University and received his D.M.D. from Harvard University. He then attended the post-graduate endodontic program at the University of Maryland.
During this three-year residency, Dr. Bellingham gained extensive training in non-surgical and surgical root canal therapy and received a Master of Science degree for clinical research comparing the effectiveness of root canal disinfecting techniques.
Dr. Bellingham is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and serves as a clinical instructor in endodontics at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. During Dr. Bellingham’s personal time, he looks forward to relaxing at the cottage and enjoying the outdoors.
Dr. Nick Danielak
Dr. Danielak was born and raised in Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto in Dentistry and has been practicing for over 30 years. Dr. Danielak is pleased to offer his patients sedation for dental extractions and wisdom teeth removal. In his spare time he enjoys biking, skiing and road trips with the family.
Dr. Daniel Fortino
Dr Daniel Fortino is a Board Certified Periodontist and obtained his Specialty Degree in Periodontics and a Masters in Science from the Centre for Advanced Dental Education in St Louis, Missouri. After his specialty, he pursued a fellowship in Advanced Oral Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo working in conjunction with the Prosthodontic and Oral and Maxillofacial Departments.
Dr Fortino is the staff surgeon who completes full mouth reconstructive cases and restoring patients with dental implants. He joined the Department of Periodontics at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo as a part-time faculty member and is currently on staff at the Graduate Periodontics Clinic. In 2017, he achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology; a distinction given to a periodontist who has undertaken requirements and examination beyond mandatory educational requirements of the specialty.
Dr Fortino holds a dual license both in the United States and Canada. Dr. Fortino grew up in the Hamilton (Ancaster) area and completed his undergraduate education at McMaster University in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) Degree graduating with distinction. He then continued his education at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. He received the Oral Pathology and Periodontics award upon graduation. Dr Fortino has been published on topics relating to peri-implantitis (advanced dental implant placement), sinus grafting and the treatment of periodontal disease.
